Wild Earth Coastal High 50
Enjoy the run of your life at the Wild Earth Coastal High 50 this September, a thrilling trail run through the Gold Coast’s Springbrook National Park and Lamington National Park. You’ll be treated to some of the best hinterland views in the region throughout the trail, which measures at 49.5km and ends at the famous Purling Brook Falls, a spectacular 100m waterfall at the heart of Springbrook National Park. The Wild Earth Coastal High 50 is a fantastic personal challenge this spring, and the perfect motivation to get active and fit. Be part of it this 2018 on September 1.
SWELL Sculpture Festival
One of the big events that comes to the Southern Gold Coast each year is SWELL Sculpture Festival. This stunning environmental art exhibition brings sculptures and installations to the picturesque Currumbin Beach, which are free to view for the public for ten days. The artwork will come from artists both national and international, and will include over 50 pieces to see and enjoy for all ages and tastes. It’s surreal, inspiring, and mesmerising all at the same time. Don’t miss it September 14 to September 23.
Australian Transplant Games
The 2018 Australian Transplant Games will take place up and down the Gold Coast for its second time, and will feature a whole host of games and sports for transplant survivors and transplant donors. Events will include golf, cycling, athletics, badminton, chess, soccer, scrabble, swimming, tennis, triathlon, and more, allowing transplant survivors and donors the opportunity to celebrate their second chance at life. Show your support and enjoy all the action from September 30 to October 6.
